Terms of Service

Contaply is in beta, free of charge, and operated by the Contaply team. These terms will name the registered operating company before paid plans begin.

1. Using Contaply

By creating an organisation or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you use Contaply for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf. The person who creates an organisation is its owner and is responsible for who they invite.

2. Your data

Your organisation owns the contact data it stores in Contaply. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis — such as the person’s agreement — for the data you store and for every message you send through Contaply.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use Contaply to:

• send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or use purchased, rented or scraped contact lists;
• send unlawful, misleading, harassing or harmful content, or impersonate anyone;
• store data you have no right to hold, or data about children without a lawful basis;
• try to access another organisation’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or get around its limits.

We may limit, pause or close an organisation that breaks these rules, and will tell its owner unless the law or the risk of harm prevents us.

4. Beta, limits and changes

During the beta Contaply is free and features may change. We apply fair-use limits (for example on contacts, team members and messages per month) to keep the service reliable and affordable, and will show them in the app. We will give owners reasonable notice before introducing paid plans; nothing is charged without your agreement.

5. Availability

We work to keep Contaply available and your data safe, including regular backups, but during the beta the service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of anything critical — you can export your contacts at any time.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your content, your messages or providers you connect. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Ending

You can stop using Contaply at any time and ask us to delete your organisation. We may end the service with at least 30 days’ notice to owners, giving you time to export your data.
